39. Author and nurse practitioner Elle Cruz and her debut year

Elle Cruz is an author of contemporary romance. She has a bachelor's degree in English and a doctoral degree in nursing. By day she works as a nurse practitioner, but at night she is writing swoon-worthy stories perfect for all the hopeless romantics out there. In addition to being an author, Elle is active in the writing community and loves to mentor and give advice to new authors. She has a wonderful, supportive husband, and is inspired every day by her two hard-working children. 

In this episode we talk about her debut book HOW TO SURVIVE A MODERN DAY FAIRY TALE , its gorgeous cover, her circular path to her author career, and her unicorn agent story.
