Welcome to Episode 18 of the Stories to Love Podcast

Hello everyone and happy New Year’s Eve! I had a few minutes and am in between deadlines and wanted to air this special episode with Gail D. Villanueva. Gail is a middle grade author and we talk about her menagerie of pets, superstition in books, respecting the middle grade reader, hope and consent in her books. In addition, I wanted to highlight the Kidlit for Luzon Campaign, which is helping aid the typhoon ravaged areas of the Philippines.

This is a wonderful campaign in which those who contribute get the benefit of redeeming gifts from patrons such as myself for writerly services like critiques or books and book items. Saying goodbye to 2020—and what a year it is—means taking all the good from it and making it better in 2021.
