Welcome to Episode 28 of the Stories to Love Podcast! Here with me today is Jessica Strawser.

Jessica Strawser is editor-at-large at Writer’s Digest, where she was editorial director for nearly a decade. She is author of the book club favorites Almost Missed You; Not That I Could Tell (a Book of the Month bestseller); Forget You Know Me; and A Million Reasons Why, named to Most Anticipated lists from Goodreads, E! News & SheReads ahead of its March 2021 release—and now new in paperback! Her fifth novel, The Next Thing You Know, is coming from St. Martin’s Press on March 22.

In this episode we talk about the circuitous way she came around to writing the Next thing You know and her research about end-of-life doulas. We also touch on the needs of our aging population, and how she managed the multiple points of view in her book.
